Service traction, engine power reduced, no codes

Hi everyone, I have a 2009 Cobalt 126000 miles. Lately, this just started last couple of weeks, it has happened 5 times so far in the last 15 days.

When driving at around 45, pulling out of a parking spot, with ac on, with ac off, accelarating to pass, or slowing to a stop. The car will pop a cel, display will read "reduced engine power" and " service traction". Car will slow to no more than 15, and pnce stopped will have a very rough idle. I'll turn off, put code reader on, no code come up, I will turn off cel, and the car will run smoothly again.

I checked fuses and wiring, but nothing. Please help me.

If CEL is on, there should be a code or a history code. What kind of code reader do you have? Lots of code readers only read the ECM codes, the more advanced will read BCM, EBCM, TCM and SRS codes. You may just have a collapsed CAT and no code reader will tell you this.
