Quick Thanks for the Previous Posts About P0010

The other day I got a check engine light as I was running errands. Got home and read the code it was P0010... Problem with the intake cam position solenoid bank 1? WTH is that I am old school and never heard of such a thing?

Immediately came inside and checked on here about what it was and what to do.

After reading the posts here and doing a couple of quick tests for resistance along with the fact that I couldn't hear the intake open or close with the exhaust solenoid disconnected..... I decided to change the intake one only as I never got the P0011 code, and I am off work recovering from some surgery so money is a concern.

I picked the part up at the local jobbers, and swapped it out using the instructions posted here. Took all of 10 minutes even though it was freezing out there LOL.

Been 2 days and the car is running great!!! So thanks for all the posters who took the time to come on and share how they solved this problem.
