07 Cobalt LT with 165k Oil Type in FL State.

1st of all, I've seen this question been asked for multiple times. But mine is tend to be different (a bit). I live under the heat of Florida State and would like to know what kinda Oil should I use or purchase at Walmart? I have been using the 5w-20 Full Syn. in the past for my 05 sentra... after that I purchased this Chevy and been told to use a thicker Oil because of the heat and switched to 0W-20 Pennzoil Full Syn.

Which one do you recommend from your perspective?

0W-20 is quite thin for 40F up
Check your manual you will find SAE 5W-30

You might could consider that 0W-20 if you lived in Alaska's deep interior.
