Computer Flash

If computer in my 2006 cobalt 2.2L needs flashed...Will it set code? Having trouble with idling...If I start car 4 or 5 times while pumping the gas after it starts It will then idle like it should but if I shut off then start again I have to pump gas again 4 or 5 times to get it to idle....nothing wrong with fuel and after I do this pumping it runs good.....Anyone ever have this problem? Jim

Nevet had this problem occur with my 2009 G5 GT but with my 1990 IOC-Z whenever I'd do a fuel system mod, I'd have to get the ECM relearn the drivability parameters. I'd disconnect the battery for 30 seconds then after 3 or 4 driving sessions, drivability became normal.
Give it a try.

If you are saying your idle needs to be relearned, you may wish to check out
It may answer the qurstions your having.
