Remote Start

Been having lock/unlock/remote start issues with the key FOB. Replaced the battery, glued (very carefully) the piece that holds the battery in place. I'm getting nothing from the FOB now. It's an '07 Cobalt; just over 180K and otherwise starts/runs fine. Any thoughts? I've heard reprogramming can be expensive.

Your Cobalt doesn't need to be reprogrammed you just need to fix or get your FOB fixed. Glue is non conductive, the battery clip has to be soldered in place. Your button pad probably needs to be replaced also.
