Turn Signal Doesn't Disengage

I have a 2010 Chevy Cobalt that the turn signal doesn't disengage when turning either right or left. I just replaced the unit thinking it was the problem and realized that it wasn't . Any help is appreciated.

Where did you get the replacement turn signal switch assembly?

Do you still have the old one? Make sure all your conecctions are good. Coby7 has a diy for the same issue. Look in the diy forums.

If it was the correct replacement part (GM Part #20940099), then that should have fixed the problem. I've heard something about a clock spring messing up auto-cancel, but I'm not sure if that's legit or not.
