Is There a Fuse...

2008 Cobalt LS - While installing a new radio in my daughter's car, the wires for the passenger's air bag light got pinched. Now I have no power going to the light, or the lights for the AC/Recirculation/Read Defogger are not coming on. Is there a fuse for these?

Thanks for the help.

You may have cut the wire since it is the same power that goes to your cluster background. I believe it's a gray wire.

Thanks for the info, No, all of the wires are intact...possibly the power wire grounded out, that is why I am asking if there is a fuse for these.

Thanks...

There is a fuse but it controls more than the HVAC backlight.

Now she tells me the switches do not work. She pushes the buttons, and nothing happens...she has tried all three...no power to any of the three, that's what makes me thinks it is a fuse.

Thanks again.

Also she says the heat stays on defrost...haven't had time to look at the fuses...is there any way to narrow it down? Switches and lights not working for AC/rear defrost/recirculation, passenger air bag lights not coming on, and heat stays on defrost...thanks for the help.
