08 2.2 RPM/Missfire.

Hey guys I'm kind of stumpped with something:

So basically what's going is i have a 2008 2.2 Manual, the car randomly just kind of "jerks" almost like a hard missfire and then the RPM gauge drops to 0 then no longer works, car isn't throwing a CEL but have no idea what this could be.....

I can leave the car set a few minutes fire it back up and the RPM gauge works again until it misses again.

Any tips or similar problems that yall have been able to fix?

Yeah! your having a lost of communication between ECM and BCM. Did you check for mole or squirrel wire damage under your engine cover? Or have you tried re-seating the BCM connectors, they tend to corrode with the ups and downs of temperature.
