Weird Electrical Issues After Dead Battery

Hi All,

My battery went dead and then some strange things started happening (after I charged it back up)

Key Fob will lock doors and will unlock them if pressed within 2 minutes or so. If I wait longer, unlock won't work
TPMS system shows bad on all 4 tires
Cigarette Lighter plugs dont work

Any ideas what the heck I should look for on this one?

Thanks!!!

Measure the voltage on your battery with engine ''OFF'', it should read at least 12.3 Volts. Turn headlights on for 20 seconds and monitor voltage, it should remain above or close to 12 Volts if it drops suddenly to below 11 volts you have a bad cell and need a new battery.

For your TPMS you will need to reprogram the RCDLR with the location of each TPMS.

For your outlet you probably blew the fuse,

For your FOB it probably coincidentally failed, try your other FOB to see if it works better. Or if voltage on your car battery is low it might effect the keyless entry.
