Starting 2 days ago I had this VERY VERY loud noise coming from the front of my 2010 Chevy Cobalt while driving. The noise start at around 30 MPH and increase over speed. My first thought is a broken wheel bearing however I am not 100% sure yet, because the sound is a bit different from what I usually ear from a bad wheel bearing and the other thing is that the noise is not changing when turning the steering in any direction. Usually with a worn front wheel bearing, did the sound are supposed to change when turning the steering into both direction??
I recorded a new video yesterday and I think the noise is way more obvious, especially while decelerating.
