Power Door Locks

Every since I met my wife 9 years ago she has owned her cobalt and her power door locks do not work. She would lock them and then they would unlock themselves in an hour. So she pulled the fuse and uses them as manual locks. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and/or knows a likely cause?

my car doesnt unlock after locking them. but my power locks do not work either, not with the key fob or the actual switch. would a bad switch in the door cause the key fob to also not work?

No but the fuse would. Fuse 26 in the BCM fuse block.
