Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Location?

'07 LS 2.2.

Just a sanity check: I expected the fuel pressure sensor to be part of the tank sender unit. Instead, mine seems to be in the canister. Yes?

Bonus question: if I blow into the canister's inlet port (the one coming from the tank), and plug its vent outlet, I'd expect the pressure sensor voltage to change. Mine just stays at 4.84v. Sad?

They are only like $15. In the 11 years of ownership of my 07 Cobalt that sensor was the only one to fail.
