I just bought my car its a 2008 used with 50k miles on it idk if im affected but who do i contact for information my local chevy dealer? i got my car from a ford dealership lol...

oh ok thanks but my cars vin # was included (87245595) for recall for 2008's but i have never had any types of problems with it should i still be concerned?

The motor is right under the dash. on the bottom.

It is the little piece here, its only 2 bolts and a plug!

steering

I have had problems with the steering wheel shaking at 65mph, have had the tires checked twice for balance and rotated, and it is still doing it and the alignment is fine

I know..but at first I didn't know that...it's kinda hard to find a new motor and module...

dboytor, you have warped rotors most likely. Mine did that under braking till I got new rotors.


Anyone get a recall letter yet?
