Most peoples cars would be under warrenty still, but like everyone knows, the mods strip the priveledge of a warrenty :(

What sensor did they change, I am having the same issue. We have changed the sensor in the passenger seat, the seatbelt pretensioner and Friday we are going to change the side impact sensor in the door. The airbag light on the center console will not show the passenger side airbag on when someone sits in the seat.

ANOTHER one of the great sides to GM's use of not well tested and cheap parts just like the EPS column issues. I have both this problem and that one.

Finally Fixed

Passenger side sensor not the problem. Pass side seatbelt pre tensioner was it all along. After 7 weeks of messing around, it works like it is supposed to.
Thanks for your input.

I had this same issue. I got to looking around one day and noticed the wiring harness under the passenger front seat had been split. I fixed that and my airbag light problem was fixed. The dealership told me that I would have to pay $1000 for a new harness. But I fixed it and it cost me nothing!

Had this problem right after I purchased the car. So they had to fix it but then who knows maybe they just removed the fuse.
