Brake upgrade recommendations
So I was planning on upgrading my brakes soon. I plan on getting EBC yellow brake pads unless you guys think the green pads will suffice. Also I read about putting brake duct cooling to cool my brakes. (got from car hacks and mods for dummies). That mod basically involves me running cooling ducts from the front to run to my brakes to shoot cold air onto them. Not sure how well it works so input would be appreciated. I'll probaby do them anyway since its cheap. Also what rotors to get? I know no cross drilled, but what about some slotted rotors? Anyone have any links for vented rotors? What about caliper recommendations? Also i will be getting stainless steel brake lines as well.

just stick with standard brakes and pads no sense in wasting money I have been in you shoes and Im getting some good solid rotors and ceramic pads.......balts dont make enough HP to need major upgrades to the brakes and that cold air thing sounds like BS
well yes but the brake cooling thing is cheap and i like modding so yeah i'm gonna try it anyway even though i won't really be able to tell. And I know I don't NEED the extra stopping power but I want it anyway lol, so with that being said, any recommendations

How hard do you drive you car that you need brake cooling ducts anyways. I think that any upgraded rotor would do wonders on this car. Those yellow pads seem pretty nice but I would google some reviews.
TTR Sway bar, De badged, z-spec intake, DVD player.

ebc yellow stuff and some power slots will do you just fine
I purchased Powerslot Slotted rotors and Hawk PC (Performance Ceramic) pads from OTTP for $260 plus shipping. I haven't installed them yet, but I can't wait. I am debating on getting SS lines so I can do it all at once.
I recommend both EBC and Powerslot for rotors. I recommend Hawk PC or HPS pads and EBC Green Stuff or Red Stuff pads (I don't care for the Yellow Stuff pads). You really could just get a nice set of aftermarket blank rotors (not slotted, drilled, dimpled, etc.) and just the Hawk PC or EBC Green Stuff pads and you'd be all set.
Before I got the deal on the stuff I have, I was going to order the following...these websites are where I planned to order from for the best pricing:
http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...=LS&perfCode=S
http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...=LS&perfCode=S
http://www.modernperformance.com/rus...ms-p-1756.html
If you want to save more money, don't bother with the SS brake lines.
