Quick Question About Tires

Hey guys I'm getting rid of my 18" rims and got a new set of 17" rims

I'm not good with tire sizes, So I'm wondering what size tire should I get, I want something that will fill in the wheel well as much as possible, but I don't want to have any issues with rubbing.

my car is lowered on sportlines, so there might be some rubbing issues if i go too big.

I was thinking 205-50-17

or would I be better off with 205-45-17? I see that size more than anything

So somebody with 17's and a drop help me please

those look good. I might just go with the 45's instead of the 50's, but if anyone out there is lowered on 50's and 17" rims let me know, I'm trying to find a price on my tires, because the sooner I get my tires the sooner I can get my new rims on.

205/40/17 is what i have... any thing bigger than a 40 is TOO FAT IMO... id rather have a rubberband wrapped around my rims than a big thick tire...

haha Yeah but it also looks great on your car because you're lowered alot more than me, I want as little wheel gap as possible.

well I priced the 205-45-17's and I can get them for about $390 mounted and balanced for a set, the 205-50-17's are the same price pretty much lol.

I tried googling cobalts with 205-50-17's and nothing lol.

Here's my new rims BTW

those have 205-40-17 but the tires are too skinny and would look funny on my car.
