Question Brakes Grinding...

I crashed and had my entire front axle replaced. Sometimes when I try to brake while turning it grinds and the brakes dont work. It also happens when im driving straight. I was wondering I should go get it looked at or if it was somethink i might be able to fix myself.

yes get them checked. Brakes are nothing to screw around with. Sounds to me like bad rotors or pads.

If the cars under warranty I would go have it looked at.

I recently took a right turn with my new axles and I have fairly new hawk pads and r1 rotors. it made a grinding noise like when a pad is worn down to the metal. I am still curious as to what it is. I checked the whole front end like I do in the shop and nothing. it must've been a foreign object caught in the brakes or something.

Brakes arent covered except for master cylinder after so many miles as they are wear and tear items , plus the wreck, so warranty issue is moot. Does sound liek when front end was rebuilt: the shop put the front end back wrong, used old parts, or got something stuck.
