Question Do I Need a Spring Compressor for the Rear?

Rear suspension only. Do (should) I need a spring compressor?

From reading here, all I need to do is loose the lower shock bolt. The control arm should come down, and the springs should come out.

Am I missing anything else?

TIA

Do you have a strut on the rear? The answer is no. So you don't need a compressor.

Raise the back of the car and remove both shocks in order to remove the springs easier. Use a pry tool to stick under the plastic that's on the bottom of the spring and it'll pop out.
