buy some lowering springs, most have gone with eibach sportlines. They are very easy to install, if you have a boyfriend or just a guy friend he can do it for you. It is very easy once you get the hang of it and if you take it to a shop they are going to charge you hundreds of dollars to install.

hi smurf - golfin gave this breakdown for another new YC member yesterday - this'll help ya decide what you'd like to go with in terms of inches. also, check out the forum in the appearance section, as there's lots of info and comparing of springs there.

You can go with
SS/SC/TC springs- Lower about .5" inch all around
Tenzo R springs- 2" front 2.5" rear
Eibach Sportlines- 2" front 2.5" rear
Eibach Prokit- 1" front 1.6" rear
SSC springs- 2" front 2.25" rear

and that is just a few of the options
as for how to get them lowered, if you don't know much about cars right now, it's better to have someone who does do them. taking them to a shop or a friend who has done a good job of it before would be recommended.

g'luck!

I suggests ZZPerformance SSC lowering springs. Ive had mine for 3.5 years and 2 cars without one issue. I love them and its a even drop all around. I suggest taking the springs to a shop to have them installed unless you have a BF or friend who can do it for you. If you were closer i'd do it for ya haha

kinda takes a long time, it took me 3 hours with 2 people, you have to pretty much disassemble the whole suspension assembly to insert the springs, i have cheap ebay springs(SSC) and they are fine, 4dr lt looks great, plenty of how-to's on here, use them as a reference, even cross-reference if you have to, be careful and take your time....

SSC are not cheap ebay springs LOL there a cheaper alternative to sportlines but they are far from "Cheap Ebay" type springs
