How Do You Take Off Brake Calipers

I wanna paint my brake calipers but i am not sure how to take them off?

2007 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged Black
~ Gen 3-8000 HID's and Fogs, Borla Exhaust System, K&N Typhoon Intake, Powder Coated Rims, Kenwood In-Dash 7" Monitor.

there are 2 15mm bolts holding the caliper to the knuckle. Once you have the wheel off, they should be fairly obvious on the backside.

Heck I didnt even take mine off just bought that duplicolor kit. Comes with a brush, paint, and tape.

to get the entire setup off, there 2 15mm hold the caliper on, then there 2 17mm's i believe holding the other piece of caliper on (the bracket). what i did so i didnt have to redo my brake fluid and stuff, is just laid a block under the caliper and wrapped the line, and near by things up so they wouldnt get overspray. so then you dont have to disconnect the lines!

my friends eclipse we just did his calipers tonight, fire engine red caliper paint, and his 4 bolts holding his caliper on were all 15mm. so its real simple to figure it out lol

u dont take them off. u brush paint them while they're still on the car.

you cant do it either way. i mean you could do it the other way, but how fun is it if you can just take a brush and just paint them. you gotta do atleast some sort of work lol
