I installed my Pro Kit springs today and leanred the hard way not to get the $10 spring compressor from Harbor Frieght tools.
I was able to get the passanger side done. But I could tell that the nut was trying to rethread the bolt to tighten them.
I was able to get the driver side stock spring compressed and the shock out.
But when then bolt on the spring compressor got to the point where it would no longer turn because the threads are to screwed up.
Luckly my dad was home so we ended up going to Auto Zone and renting a compressor using his car since mine was on the stands torn apart.
With the rental i was able to get the new one on and the other one off the spring.
In the picture the black arrow is where the threads are pretty much gone.
Here is a pic I took it after a short drive.
It handles better.
Stays nice and level going around turn just like my old car did.
The wheel gap is just about even front and rear.
I measured about almost 2 inch drop in the back and 3/4 in the front.
I'm sure the front will settle a little more.
I'll try to get some better pics tomrrow after a wash and wax.
Here are some better pics I took today in the rain.
Here is a before pic.
