Brake Squeak

So I just have a small question that may or may not be a problem, idk.

So I've noticed that whenever I compress the brake pedal on my car all the way and then release it there's a little squeaking noise once I release this, what is this? Not sure if it's something to worry about cause it's something that's happened since I bought the car in August.

The actual brakes do that or the pedal? If its the pedal put some WD-40 or equivilant spray lube on all moving parts of the pedal assembly.
If its the brakes themselves, I dont know.

Take the brake pads off and use ceramic brake lube on
the back side of the pads and lube all of the slide bolts.
Should cure you squeek.
