Stance, HSD, BC, and KW are the better ones out there. If your not going to really track and just want to get low and drive it daily on the street you can look at Megan Racing, Ksport, D2.

You want the best suspension for your car for under 5,000?

FE5's and pedders.

Coilovers are "neat" but they are all cheaply made. Every car I know on them complains of bangs and clunks, and you sacrifice ride quality for "stance"

You want to just be low? Coilovers.

You want a lowered car with good track ability? Pedders and FE5's. All the guys I know with built Cobalts that track their cars are on that setup. And its what I am moving too.

if you just want stance, and dont care that theres a good chance your suspension will make noise, go with coils then, if you can justify cost.

I'd say get rims first just because you have steelies although I am a supporter of coilovers.

TBH there pretty much all the same, go with whatever color you like better or what ever one you can get for the best price. I know you can get Megan for 800 shipped on the other forum and they are made by BC which is a better company.
