Tire Fitment?

I'm going to B&G's and I found a really good deal on some 245/40/18's.

My question is, anyone running this size tire? If so, any issues rubbing, or turning?

If you're running this size tire, can you post a pic of how they look?

Also, is the B&G the lowest drop spring? I've been reading tons of threads but I have no definitive answer thus far...

B&g could very well be the lowest. You will be fine with a 40 series tire, but 245 is pretty wide. I'm running 225 on a 7 inch wide wheel and it's just right. I'm pretty sure it will fit but that's a wide ass tire

225 is good for a 7" rim. I have 235 on a 7" rim and the guy putting them on was mad by time he was done. 245 is too wide for 7" rims in my opinion. You should never get curb rash though from it hanging over so far lol.

245/40R18 is going to throw your speedo way too. And will probably rub, especially on B&Gs.

255/35R18 is about the same diameter as 225/40R18 FWIW

My 225/40-18 tires are perfect on my 7 inch wide rim. I wouldn't want to go any wider

What rims are you running? If your rims are the stock SS/SC, you probably shouldn't go any wider than 235/40R18. If you're rolling on the SS/TC rims, 245/40R18, although some people have gotten as wide as 255/40R18 for the TC.

SS/SC's stock rims are 18x7.5, so either 225/40R18 or 235/40R18 should be fine.
