06 Cobalt SS Rides Rough

First of all I'm new here. I don't know if all SS's just ride rough or it's just mine, but when I go over bumps especially at highway speed on corners, the back end seems to want to swing over and it worries me. Is there something wrong with my suspension or are all SS's like this? The car info is in the signature. Is it because of the large rims? I drove a sedan the other day, non ss, and it rode fine. I'm just curious. For all that I know it has not been lowered or anything like that, but it does sit very low to the ground. Thanks

Were you the only owner of the car? If not, the previous owner may have done somethings to the suspension. Also, check your shocks... they may just be worn out. Push down on each corner of the car and release. The corner you pushed down on should not rebound more than 1.5 times.
