TPMS Bolt

so i got my tpms sensors with my msr wheels and they worked fine. the shop i got the rims mounted at had to give me a bolt to secure the tpms to the actual wheel because the seller i got them from on ebay didnt include them.

when i got my new rims put on last summer i was told the sensors wouldnt fit in my rim altho i find it hard to believe as its the same thread as a normal valve stem.
here is a picture of the sensor (OEM) and the bolt the 1st tire warehouse gave me

im not sure if its because im unsure if this is a oem bolt or if TPMS just wont work on my new rims.

can anyone tell me if this is a bigger more thicker bolt than what comes with the oem sensors? or if it is even possible that the sensor cant be mounted to my rim
