Angry Pissed!

okay so my rotors are warped! and there not even 8 months old so iam not buying ebc rotors again!!!..my next question is should i just buy oem stock rotors or get these? 2007 CHEVROLET COBALT Front Brake Rotors - OEQ Blanks poe.62072 the oem rotors are 50 bucks each..but i herd the r1concepts are better...idk what 2 get plz help me!!!

i just went to napa and got rotors and pads for $80.. no complaints so far 2 years later really

If you have a heavy foot it will warp rotors in no time, I learned my lesson a long time ago...

Heat often gets the blame, but a brake expert I know told me that essentially improper torquing of the lug nuts is the cause of virtually all warped disks.

Mind you, I'm not saying that. But his position was that properly torqued rotors won't warp when they get hot.

Maybe.

but i thought there were cross drilled and dimpled for a reason so they dont get so hot and warp?

Get the R1s. My experience is that our oem rotors are trash.

This is also what I have been told by several shops. They said if the rotors are over torqued it will cause the to warp on hard stops. Not sure how much truth there is to it but seems to be a common theme.
