SS to 2LT Wheel Swap...

hello. Im interested in a minor wheel upgrade. I want to replace my 17s on my 2lt with the 18s off of an SS model. anyone done this yet?

As long as your cobalt is the 5 lug version, it'll work.

Sort of same topic - I'm thinking of going to an 18" rim from a 17" (2008 Sport)for winter tires. They make steel rims for 18" tires? Also, I always thought a smaller tire would provide better traction on snow & ice besides the make of the tire.. What series tire can I get by with on the 17" other than what I already use(205/50/17)?? Can't make up my mind on which way I want to persure.
