Winter Tires

Does anyone know if 205/70/15 winter tires will fit and be effective on my 08 Cobalt L T. What I have really sucks and I want really aggressive tires.

Thanx

195/65/15. I'm thinking. 70 series would be a bit taller.

Essentially I want something narrow that cuts through snow. The Low Traction thing is driving me beyond bonkers!

They will fit but your speedometer will read 5% slow. I went with 185/70-15 0n my Cobalt. Had a bit more tire roll but it cuts through snow instead of riding over it and tobogganing. Only less than 1% change on the speedo.

I always put narrower tires for the winter, I just find they work better. No racing in winter anyways, emphasis is on security and making it home so you can be with love ones. Looks come second in winter tires.

Hey Coby. I got winters on. They never heard of 185/70/15 but had 185/65/15. They look great. Narrow and knobby lol. Haven't seen the low traction light yet hahaha

That's good and speedo is only 2% fast, meaning when speedo reads 50 you're actually going 49.
