Exclamation HELP! Shocks and Struts Q!!!!!!!

So I took my car in for an oil change and my shocks in the rear are completly busted and have to get new ones. Planned on getting the FE5 suspension all around anyways along with B&G lowering springs but can I do the rear first and then the front at a later time?

Yup! You mean shocks only right. It takes 10 minutes to change shocks and springs in the rear of a Cobalt. So do your shocks now and later when you decide to cough-up the money for the springs do the rest.

So I can just get the rear shocks and put them on and then in like 3 weeks just put on the front struts and the springs on? Should I just leave the stock springs on until I fully upgrade the suspension?

Just another quick Q for ya. Im getting the FE5 suspension. Do I need to buy the strut mount for the FE5 suspension too or does the FE1 suspension strut mount work?

If you can buy them at a place where they take returns you can buy them so you have them at installation time. If your old ones are bad, wore out or you just want to go with all new you'll have them. But the FE1 and FE5 are the same.

Well Im now 350 bucks in debt now but I got FE5 shocks for the rear and got the FE5 struts for the front with the top mount for each and the nut to secure it all together. Next couple of paychecks will get the springs. Im mad but also happy at the same time. Mad that I had to get new suspension but happy that Im upgrading.
