G6 Rims on Cobalt LT

im looking at purchasing some stock pontiac G6 rims for my cobalt lt, i was originally looking at the 18" rims but im thinking they will make the car look to tall, ive seen the rims on cobalt but they are lowered, would they still look good on a cobalt lt with stock suspension?

Have you checked the bolt pattern and offset yet?

and yes a cobalt with 18" wheels not lowered looks kind of "donk" style haha

my cobalt has g5 5 bolt hubs and is currently sitting on g5 16" wheels, this summer i think im going to purchase a set of 17' black rims with a machined face, ive seen them in real life and pictures and they look good without lowering!!

putting 17" rims on there will not change how high the car sits by very much, since you'll be running a lower sidewall height.... there is very little difference between the height of stock LT16 (205-55-16) and stock SS/NA 17s (205-50-17).

This not me saying you don't need to lower the car, but one thing at a time, as money allows. Or buy them and wait until you can lower it and install all at once... I know personally how hard it is to buy something and wait to install it, its easier said then done....

I've had a turbo kit sitting in my attic for about 6 months now. It sucks but I had to finish every supporting suspension mod before adding power.

2009 Cobalt LS XFE (F23) Victory Red
YYZ V.3 Springs, Koni shocks/struts, Powell XXX rear swaybar, Brembo brake swap, 5 lug conversion, Ion Redline wheels, SS/SC interior swap including power conversion, K&N intake, Trifecta tune, Ark Performance N-II catback, Ark shorty antenna, SS body kit, Powell F23 rotated mount, LNF rear mount, Powell CABs
Soon to come- EFR 6758 turbo kit and make Retro Headlights.

yes it will fit, yes you will need lowering, and i would recommend the G6 GTP wheel, they look better i think is the NW2 model.
i have been debating for a while to get them, they look nice i need to find you a picture with them

i am 100% not lowering my car, i live in a rural part of canada and with the winters we have here and the road conditions that last thing i want to do is make it lower, and ive seen the rims im looking at on cobalts and they look actually better height wise than stock since they take up more of the wheel well and dont make the car higher at all, or enough to notice
