4 to 5 Lug Swap

Looking at doing the rear disc conversion which will change the rear to a 5 lug pattern, so what do I need to do the front? Just new hubs and rotors?

Much bigger job than you think. Keep yhe 4 lug. Theres a company that makes a rear disc swap bracket that utilizes a saturn s series rear disc and caliper set up. Would cost you less than 400 and easier

Yes you just have to have the Brembo rotors redrilled to 4x100 and remember you'll need a 17'' wheel (minimum) that can clear the Brembo calipers. The only reason mine wouldn't swap over is because if you used my hubs I removed the portion that has the wheel speed sensors in the hub.

Well the original company that did the s-series swap is o.o.b. powell racing makes a bracket, but unless we had a miss communication, he just told me it was a ss swap bracket and lines for 225. Thats about the price of a ss axle swap.....if you can find one.

To switch the front you need LSJ front and rear hubs as well as re drill your stock brakes or get SS/SC/NA (same) or even SS/TC brakes. The rear you can either buy the disk conversion right away or just get the 5 lug drums (what I have at the moment, but should switch to disks within a few months).

I just think thats too much work just to switch to 5 lug. 4 lug is fine by me : ) Just wanted the brembo brakes but now that literally my whole front brakes (pads, rotors, calipers, etc) is all new I dont really want to upgrade haha

Yeah I was in the same boat, I waited a solid 2 months on a shot wheel bearing and I didn't want to just keep 4 lug so I picked up a set of IRL wheels from a local, bought all the parts and over a long weekend switched them out. My brakes were having some issues and I wasn't going to replace it with new base stuff, I wanted to do it once and not have to worry about it for a while.
