Brake caliper slide pins

I'm in the process of rebuilding a caliper. When cleaning up the slide pins, I noticed there is a difference between the two. One has a black rubber tip and the other does not. Does anyone know which position these go in the caliper?

You might have to take the other side apart, because I can't remember. You should be able to tell the difference with the holes they go in though.

This will probably help. The one with the notch in it looks like it goes on the left.

Thanks! I had them powder coated locally. I can't wait to get these on. Still gathering everything for my 5 lug swap.
