Rear shocks FE5 are on

Now if you want real FE5 strut assemblies you will have to buy parts separately and assemble them. Don't be fooled by the line ''Fits your Cobalt'' , it will fit but will not perform like FE5.

GM Part Number: 25833647
SPRING, Front Chassis

GM Part Number: 19181251
STRUT KIT, Front Suspension
LH (Driver Side)

GM Part Number: 19181631
STRUT KIT, Front Suspension
RH (Passenger Side)

I noticed that to. FE5 rear absorbers. But couldn't find any FE5 front assemblies.

P.S- I can't seem to find FE5 strut assembly on rock auto either. They have a bunch of assemblies economy assemblies and original ride assemblies. But nothing says specifically FE5. They all look the same.

GM doesn't sell an FE5 assembly so rockauto can't sell it. Like I said before if you want an FE5 front suspension you will have to piece it together or source a good one from the junk yard.

CED sells assemblies but they only have the full suspension for about 700 before shipping. None of the assemblies rock auto sells are compatible?

CrateEngineDepot.com Just buy parts for a new SS. That's FE5. If you are looking online you have to look for parts individually. Struts, springs, shocks.

I bought my FE5 shocks/struts from CED and aftermarket lowering springs from a different site. All you need is a spring compressor and maybe someone to help you use it. Not very hard.

Yeah I don't want to lower my car. But riding on a standard FE5 system should please me. My car had a hitch on it so I'm not sure if the suspension was upgraded or what not.
