Should I replace

Got sideswiped the other day driving my odyssey. Got this deep cut on my tire. Should replace? I see the threads on the sidewall.

I've seen worse but if you don't feel comfortable..... I wouldn't unless it leaked or the other guy was paying.

Measured the depth and it's about 6.5mm deep. How thick is a sidewall anyway?

3/8" or so. Depends on the tire tbh. Michelin has a very thin sidewall while bridgestone uses a thick sidewall.

If you are seeing cords the tire needs to be replaced. We do not recommend driving on it.
