Shaking at Higher Speeds, Heavy Drops into Gears, Shaking While Braking

I've been experiencing this problem for a couples months now. I have an 07 automatic lt and when I shift into reverse or drive it drops into gear heavily and feels like the front wheels shift. This also happens when I accelerate and the transmission switches gears, it feels like the wheels become loose in that time and it shifts the cars position a bit. When I reach speeds of 55 mph and higher the wheel begins to shake, this also happens when I brake. I've been thinking it was the transmission at first but now I'm wondering if it's something to do with the cv joints or rotars, anyone know what's going on?
