Coil Springs

Im putting quite a bit of money into fixing up some stuff on my car and was wondering if its worth replacing coil springs if they arent cracked. If they havent been cut or heated, they should still be good right? Im just looking for a smooth comfortable ride and am not looking to upgrade for performance really.

I switched back from fe5 struts and shocks after they started leaking.

There's no need to really replace springs unless they are broken or sagging

The rear FE1 springs have a habit of snapping from time to time. I and many others discovered this when finally getting around to upgrading them. Have you heard any loud metallic bangs lately? Would sound like you ran over a big piece of iron. Those are your rear springs snapping.

No, no particularly weird noise or anything. I was just curious if id see any sort of improvement by replacing them since Ill be working on the brakes and such this weekend.

I was going to give those ac delco "professional" springs a try, but if it wont be any real improvement, I probably wont bother.
