OEM Parts Question...............

Hi Guys!

I've lurked here for quite some time and have found lots of good info that has helped out.

My question is: My Wife's nephew has a 2007 Cobalt LT that needs front struts.

I'm looking for a place that has the lowest prices on parts for these cars. It doesn't have to be OEM, but that's preferred. I'd also like to buy the strut setup that has the spring installed already because his car has 110k miles on it. FE1, FE3 or FE5 doesn't matter because he's strapped for cash ans isn't a performance driver.

I know that not a lot can happen to the spring, but I figure that if I'm in there, may as well change it.

Thanks in advance for your help! I Appreciate it!

Rock Auto if in USA or Prime Choice if Canadian. Assemblies are also easier to change.

Stick with oem. A lot of others are crap and will blow a lot quicker than oem.

Showoff thread finally!!!! : )

If you're only going to change the front assemblies, stick with FE1, as mixing them up may lead to wonky handling when pushed hard.
