The cage is a little stupid piece of metal. You can break the spot welds extremely easily. The nut is 1" on the small side.

The cage holing the nut in place wont be a problem when i get to it im sure but theres metal surrounding the nut making a box around the nut and the cage. Do i just cut through it? I dont want to cut supports for the sub frame..

The metal surrounding the nut is the cage. Break it off and the nut should lift out with whatever is left of the bolt. Drivers side is a bitch btw
