2.2 Vs 2.0

So anyone ever rAce a ss/sc at the track of course with thier built 2.2 /na ? I'm just wondering if I'll be able to beat a stock sc one with my intake ,intake manifold, header ,downpipe, full catback etc

Not sure if you'd have a win with that, granted you upped the power but remember, that 205HP rating is more in line with what the car makes to the wheels. many stock LSJs dynoed between 190-215whp. Now, factor in a not so good driver and there are many and a good run by yourself you have a chance.

id say not a chance.. id like to think all optimistic because yes im a 2.2 also but there is no way a full bolt on 2.2 is going to take a 2.0 s/c

really.. a fully bolted 2.2 should be pushing around 200 too

Fully bolted 2.2 made 180.16 whp, with the mods you listed you wouldnt stand a chance.

U wont stand much of a chance unless they r a terrible driver. with ur mods u might be in the 170 range at absolute best. sc's dyno higher than 205typically. even with those bolt ons you'll be lucky to break 15s. depends if ur manual and know how to drive too. 2.0 sc's will run mid to low 14s depending on the driver

unless its a small track, you have crazy good suspension, ur a reallllly good driver, the other driver sucks, and their car is stock... id say good luck. but give it a try anyway! wouldnt hurt!
