ECTA Standing Mile Top Speed

The ECTA - "East Coast timing association" has about four events here per summer here at Clinton County Air Park Wilmington OH.

Standing start, mile run speed measured at the end of the mile.

Has anyone tried that. I have a 2008 Cobalt auto.

A friend has a record in his class, because he is the only one in the class (not a cobalt) and it's under 110 mph in a small V6. I don't want to identify the car at this time..

Does anyone think the Cobalt can beat that?
I would love to, for bragging rights...
