Cool Trunk Release

HMMMMM.....trunk release button works sometimes I carry alot of parts in my trunk it seems that when I have something rather flat and heavy it seems to close the "circuit" if you will when trunk is empty it will not work....however when a heavy part is strategically placed, it may work. I think it has something to do with the battery connection, if any thing is placed over the battery the button works! any thoughts?

I think this might all be coincidence. The switch behind the button has been known to fail so I would check it first. If you fiddle with the switch and it opens chances are it's the switch.

thanks I will pull the switch and look at it. if it is the switch then I will either attempt to fix or order one from the auto parts store, the more I think about it the wiring obviously is working or the trunk would not release at all! again thanks!
