Most likely a connector contact issue. Re-seat connectors if this solves thr problem add dielectric grease to connectors in question.

Only one on the TCM. The 2 blue/gray on the BCM are usually the culprits. Also sometimes the wiring harness will rub and wear through close to the thermostat housing. Check if plastic armor is intact.

I have a cobalt 05 with code p0700 and P1516, I purchased TCM replacement, but car still hard shift from gear 1 to 2 only this happen every morning and when car parked for hours need help please
