so i just blew out my clutch this weekend.....the slave cylinder went out and sprayed fluid everywere ...my dad is telling me to look into getting my clutch rebuilt or resurfaced....is this possible...everything ive read suggest that fluid ruins the integrity of it...

you're gonna need the flywheel resurfaced. i'd suggest getting a brand new clutch, obviously a slave cylinder too

i have a exedy stage 2 also. you're gonna need to drop the engine cradle to get the trans out i believe. i haven't done a clutch with the engine in the car, so i'm not an expert in that aspect. make sure you either buy a new flywheel or get that one resurfaced, i'd suggest just buying a new one, it's like 100 bucks.

and anyone hating on the stock clutch....i beat the piss out of mine for 50,000 miles...high rpm launches, burnouts , double cluthing,......so to those who blow yours out before then YOU ARE NOT DRIVING YOUR CAR RIGHT ,....mainly riding the pedal...lol...the clutch wasnt even worn out the throwout bearing blew =)
