Jerking when Accelerating from 1st to 2nd Gear

i have an 08 cobalt sedan
it jerks from 1st to 2nd about I would say 4-5 times while driving it. half the time it does not do it. I have done a transmission flush and refilled with dexron-vi. Wondering is this the transmission slipping? or maybe an engine misfire? I jerks from 1st to 2nd maybe 1 second or 2 seconds long then shifts smoothly throughout. Idles perfect gas mileage is about 29.8 on avg (dash info)
