Yup, no sense flushing it.
I had it (the system, not the trans itself) opened up around...45k, I think? Whenever I did my first brake change - jack slipped out, and the radiator landed on a jack stand (which was much better than my head), so I had to swap it, which meant popping the trans lines off, and then topping it off later on.
Haven't needed to do anything with it since. It's a sealed system, so that's kind of by design.
