Hi guys. I missed out on the last cobalt I was going to try and pick up from an auction. Ive been looking to grab one because I'm low on funds(aren't we all) and the Jeep wrangler.. well highway travel and gas money isn't working out that great. This cobalt has a bit of damage to the undercarriage. Mentioned the oil and the transmission pans need replacing. There was definitely oil still in it when it was written off, but I really don't know what I'm looking at in the tranny pan pictures.. any help is greatly appreciated.

Those look like connecting rods from the engine not transmission. It needs a new engine for sure.

In that one I see pieces of connecting rod, wrist pin, rod bearing. That engine is toast.
