Adding Lucas Trans Fix

I have 1/2 a bottle of LUCAS Trans Fix on hand and was planning on using it in my 2006 pontiac G5 2.2 auto trans with 180 000 km. Would like to keep the car for another year or two.
No trans problems but fluid has never been replaced (and do not really want to change it ,but got this bottle of Lucas for free). Can I just open the black cap on the left side of the trans ( in line and below the brake fluid reservoir)and pour it in the trans while it is running .........

Thanks

That's a good idea. Keep in mind that you will need a long trans funnel though.
