I'd say I spent about $2500. There's a voltmeter up top, a boost/vac gauge in the middle, and my wideband AFR gauge on the bottom

love the car! hows the auto tranny holding up to the sc?
Thank you - I'm not sure, but there's a few SC swap cars on CSS with autos, so I hope it holds up!

oh yes...

nice lookin car!
Thank you very much :)

nice! really liked the sunset pix! quite the mods on the performance too.

what's with us white cars and front license plate holes tho, hah (i'm currently trying to patch up the same thing). planning on getting those taken care of?
Yeah - those sunset pictures were actually taken when I was at work (at my old co-op job I got laid off from in May), I couldn't pass it up.

And yeah, I need to get those holes patched pronto!

kyle , your car looks awesome . one day i will see it in person. keep up the good work.

The write up is in the Engine Mods section. :)

Thanks!

No dyno figures as of yet.

Well, the SC (for these cars) is generally cheaper, and in general, a supercharger is much easier/cheaper to tune. Personally, I prefer the sound of a supercharger over the sound of a turbo.

Update:

Installed my '07 SS/SC Gauge Cluster

Also, here's the SS/TC exhaust that's still sitting in my garage, as opposed to in my car. :notrust:

Tip all polished up:

Your car does sound sexy. Curious to hear after the tc exhaust goes on.
I'm definitely going to have to consider supercharging. I'd like more power but I'm not sure if I really need a turbo.
How would you rate the drive on a 1-10 Fun-O-Meter scale?
Love the gauges btw

#27 ·
Fun-O-Meter, eh? I'd say about a 7 or so. It's definitely a blast having a sleeper that no one would even think was as quick as the car is. It'd be a higher number if it was a stick and RWD, haha. But 7 is a great number.

looks like someones not wearing their seatbelt....
Yep! I was in park.

#29 ·
It's pretty good with the auto, actually. The auto is a pretty fast thinking transmissions, so I really don't have any issues with it.

#31 ·
Thanks! :)

Copied this post from my topic about the exhaust...

Stock muffler:

Stock exhaust still on the vehicle:

Side by side. Stock 1.75" on the left, SS/TC 2.5" on the right:

SS/TC on left, stock on right:

Hmm...something is missing...

Stock 2" downpipe is the next thing to get replaced (along with the exhaust manifold):

(continued) Went and washed the car at a quarter wash to get all the salt and shit off. Still isn't like a good handwash at home, but it does the job.

Finally, a video. Sounds better in real life than the video. I really like the sound inside the car.

A buddy of mine from my F-Body forum picked up one as an extra for his SS/TC, and he sold it to me for a good deal.
