JDN902 /06 Cobalt Ls Coupe/ PEI, Canada

hey guy this is my 06 ls i bought last week 13x xxx 5 spee. I have plenty of plans for the car and will update this as often as possible. Most of these pics were posted in my intro thread but for those who havent seen them....

subs look great from there......but then.......

cluster "f"ed......
All the audio was installed by the previous owner and was just tossed in.

Updated Aug 18th
Haven't updated this at all since i put it up and washed the car took some quick pics so here they are.
Removed the front plate, haven't fixed the holes yet

Partial rear debadge

Finally put a trim piece around the deck, had to be trimmed a bit but it's on

Stupid owner and his stupid install....continued!.....terrible

And some randoms

So far I've done the intake resonator removal, front plate removal, partial rear debadge as well as remove the gm squares, and ripped off my rattling hubcaps because they drove my crazy
and i just ordered my 4caroption catback a few days ago

September 2nd
Catback came intoday...i drove 30-45mins to get it,picked it up then straight the the in laws and up on the hoist haha. let it cool for 20 mins then went at it. Install was easy and straight forward. Took 2 hours...would've been faster i'm sure but paranoia set in after i stripped the 2 nut and had to cut it off. Using an exhaust with no reviews and most ppl saying "never heard of that one" makes you scared to hack your perfectly fine oem exhaust off in hopes that this shiney new one will bolt up and fit..scarey!
Anyway due to rushing back to install i didn't have a camera, the gf has a few pre install pics on her phone that she'll send later.

And fitment

I've been driving with it on for at least 2 and a half hours, checking my bumper often to make sure it wasn't getting warm and it seemed alright. Anybody have concerns about it being too close to the bumper?
The exhaust fit up great, stock hangers used all the way through. It sounds pretty good, a bit louder then what I want but for under $200 shipped o my door!

Sept 4th
Tinted my tail lights today, not too dark. Still have to clear, wetsand and polish but i'll do that later as i want the tint to cure completely.

I'll get some pics up with the lights on in the day later,as well as some night shots.

SYSTEM clean up

Much better

Future plans include:
lowering springs(CM,tein or b&g)
Supercharge build in the making
clean up the stereo, including replacing rear dash/door panels(pics of why later)
rims
custom amp enclosure(in the design stage)
ss bodykit
detrim

Thats it for now, hopefully ill get some updates soon.

thanks....i actually wanted the water deflectors, bug deflector didn't matter to me though,i thought about taking off but it's been semi protected from the sun, same reason i haven't taken the door bumpers off...i'm afraid the paint around the areas is faded and i don't want big bright red lines and areas on my car
